On Thursday, February 15, 2024, North Delta employees attended a free homeownership workshop hosted by the City of West Monroe and the Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC). LHC representatives were on hand to talk about some of their many programs related to homeownership including: Homeownership, Energy Assistance, Housing Development, Rental Opportunities, Homelessness Solutions, Disaster Recovery, and Weatherization. On their website, you can find free virtual and in-person classes to learn key aspects of the homebuyer journey. These classes are for first time homebuyers and homebuyer counselors (realtors and lenders).
The mission of LHC is to ensure that every Louisiana resident is granted an opportunity to obtain safe, affordable, energy-efficient housing.
