At the Star of the Southwest Award Showcase, the SWREDA Board of Directors recognized projects that make a meaningful impact on economic vitality across the region—and North Delta was honored for its support of the BRIP (Biomedical Research & Innovation Park) project.
North Delta helped secure $1,750,000 in EDA funding to support critical infrastructure, including road development for the project site.
The proposed BRIP location sits adjacent to the School of Pharmacy on 10 acres, with an additional 20–30 acres available for expansion—creating the potential for a 30–40 acre innovation park right here in Northeast Louisiana.
This project represents a major step forward in advancing research, innovation, and economic growth in our region. We’re excited to be part of what’s ahead!
