Title VI Notice

The North Delta Regional Planning and Development District (North Delta) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes, executive orders, and regulations in all programs and activities. North Delta operates without regard to race, color, national origin, income, gender, age, and disability. Any person who believes themself, or any specific class of persons, to be subjected to discrimination prohibited by Title VI may by themself, or by representative, file a written complaint with the Louisiana Department of Transportation (LaDOTD). LaDOTD Title VI/ADA Program Manager may be reached via phone at 225-379-1923. A complaint must be filed no later than 180 days after the date of the alleged discrimination.

North Delta meetings are conducted in accessible locations and materials can be provided in accessible formats and in languages other than English. If you would like accessibility or language accommodations, please contact North Delta at 318-387-2572 or email info@northdelta.org. If you wish to attend a North Delta function and require special accommodations, please give North Delta one week’s notice in advance.

Non-Discrimination Complaint Procedures and Forms (English and Spanish)

A complainant may file a complaint directly with the Federal Transit Administration by filing a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights, Attention: Title VI Program Coordinator, East Building, 5th Floor-TCR, 1200 New Jersey Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20590.

LaDOTD’s Compliance Programs

LaDOTD’s Title VI Program Unit 

The DBE Program was created to remedy past and current discrimination against DBE firms. The intention is to level the playing field for socially and economically disadvantaged individuals wanting to do business with the DOTD on U.S. Department of Transportation federally assisted projects.

The Monroe MPO (Ouachita Council of Governments) approved the Public Participation Plan on September 25, 2023. This plan serves as the guiding document for outreach throughout the agency’s projects and programs.
